This is a picture heavy post of my trip to Seoul, in Korea as promised!

I’ll be splitting the first couple of days up since it we took a whole load more pictures on the first 3 days and almost nothing towards the end of the trip!

FYI – We went on a Shopping Package Tour with Chan Brothers with my parents!

We travelled on a red-eye flight with Asiana Airlines. It was comfy (like SQ) but the seats were far too upright for sleeping! I barely had any sleep in the end…

Upon arrival at Seoul airport, we had to eat our breakfast in 30min (in the airport) and proceed with a full day tour. That is without washing up from the previous night. Yikes!

As part of the “tour”, we took a ferry which took both the people and the tour bus we were on across the sea to the main island. We could have used the alternative highway, but you know how tour groups like to make it a little more interesting with the ferry… I was so zombie-fied, but I never failed to be amazed with how accurately the birds can catch these Prawn Crackers (isn’t it very unhealthy for them?) before they fall into the sea!

Next, we had to visit some palace + museum to learn abt their culture etc.

That’s when I realized I don’t really have patience for such places, coupled with the fact that I was suffering from lack of sleep from the airplane… So… we took off during the museum tour for an ice cream break!

After which was lunch. We had the much raved about Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup, but it was really bland and disappointing. We found out afterwards that Chan Brothers probably took us to a “lower quality” outlet. After a super unsatisfying lunch, Tim and I sneeked out and found EDIYA which had the NICEST Berry Yoghurt Flatcino EVER!

The drink absolutely saved the day…

On the side note, I’m extremely happy that Mommy is recovering well and fast. Thanks for all your patience, understanding and concern! It was really tiring the past 3 days, running to and from the Hospital, working from home, working from there with lousy internet off my IPhone etc., messing up stuff. She was finally discharged this morning and is recovering well and even walking around (really slowly) around the house!

In case you are wondering, mommy went for a spine surgery which involved taking a piece of bone from her hip to fix her spine, so basically they opened up in 2 places, the neck and the hip. I expected her to not to be able to walk for a week but she was getting to the toilet by herself on the second day which freaked me out completely! Praise the Lord for her speedy recovery!

On top of that, Audrey also blogged about the dresses she got from mylittlebow! You will see both the Purple Floral Romper and the Colour Block Bandage dress on her! They are selling out really quickly, so grab them before they are all gone!

Having read what she has to say on the review, I am going to disclose a few secrets that MLB is embarking on…
1) MLB will be having a new theme soon! A prettier, nicer, more professional one! As soon as I’m done uploading and tweaking it to perfection!
2) I will be away on a sourcing trip to S.KOREA very soon (10-14 Aug), which means you will see lots of Korean goodies in the weeks following my trip!

Yay! Too much exciting news today!

Last but not least, thanks to all patient Customers who have been waiting for their White Gold Plating Name Accessories to arrive. Your wait is coming to an END! As white gold plating is outsourced overseas, it takes a much longer process and the estimated waiting time is approx 4 weeks. However, some of you are clocking almost 5 weeks by now and I’m so sorry about it (because I can’t control a large part of it)! The good news is… that they are currently being shipped over to me so it shld arrive anytime soon and you will be receiving them shortly. And yes, I will definitely let you know when I send them out so you can expect them to wait for you prettily in your mailbox!
