Do you spot it, can you see it? Yes it’s my new Chinese Name Necklace!

A little something to reward myself for finishing all the packing and mailing of the latest Personalized Name Accessories batch (of over 60 pcs) in 2 days, which includes running to the Post office 3 times! Only thing I didn’t manage to do this time is taking photos of them simply cause it’s tooooo big a batch and I can’t do it all alone!
For those of you who ordered White Gold Plated pieces, thanks for you patience and understanding! I know that some of you have waited really long this time, and my sincere apology as I’ve mentioned previously that white gold plating is outsourced. That means that after making the necklaces, the factory needs to accumulate (a large) number of necklaces before they can send it to the plating factory. When they finally do, it takes 1 week to be plated and another 3-5 days to be sent back to the factory. It is only then that it is sent over to me, which takes approx another 3-5 days. The total process, usually comes up to 4 weeks, however, if the plating factory is overloaded or late in plating, sending etc. (say 2 days more for plating, 1 day late for sending) these all add up to more waiting time which can come up to much longer, e.g. 1-2 weeks more! Having said all these, all that is within my control is to have them send it to me AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES at the factory. And of course, daily (yes, I irritate them daily to get it done) chasing of the factory to get them plated/or back from the plating factory! And after all the waiting and chasing and waiting and begging… THEY ARE HERE. Packed and mailed to you.

Hope you liked it!

Day 3 was pretty exciting! We took a really long bus ride to another part of Phuket (abt 3-4hr ride) for an hour of ATV (all terrain vehicle) and 30min of White water rafting! In case you are wondering, it is totally worth the ride though these 2 activities totally only 1.5hr took us an entire day!

The ATV was super fun, we rode on muddy paths, road, in the shallow part of the river and over rocky roads. AMAZING except that my hand was so tired pushing the “engine” leaver to move forward because it is probably built for a man’s hand instead!
Everything was done by lunch and we were transported back to the hotel. We only just arrive before evening time.
Phuket is really a touristy spot, thus everything is very pricey and in my term “out to kill” us with the price they quote. After checking out all the restaurants in Jungceylon, we figured that it is most economical to go for Fuji again. It is indeed much cheaper than our thai meal by the street in Savoey where we only ordered 3 dishes!

Ate our fill and went for massage….
We spend the last day packing up and doing some last minute shopping!

Lunch back at Cafe Nero.
Most exciting part of the day was that our arranged airport transfer forgot all about us. We waited for 30min while no one turned up and spent another 30min waiting after they realized our existence! ARGH. Thank goodness we were still in time to catch the flight back!

Phuket was a pretty nice and relaxing experience, but I doubt I will be going back there anytime soon. I’d prefer Bali and the things I can do there!
I will write abt my Korea trip in a bit!

We booked a tour out to Phi Phi Islands on Day 2.. Took a long bus ride to where the boats were parked and off we went!

The first island we went is the one made famous by Leonardo Dicaprio in the film The Beach many years back.

It was a nice bay, but just TOO OVERLY CROWDED for my liking. Funny thing is, almost all the tourists came to the island at around the same time and then left after 15-30min!

After that, we went island hoping. The water was pretty clear and clean and I took some decent photos with my IXUS 80IS!

We enjoyed Snorkelling most in this short trip out, swimming among fishes and looking at whatever is remaining of the corals.

Dinner @ Cafe Nero (by Black Canyon Coffee) where I had my favourite Rum Coffee Frap!

And then the whole second day was over in a blink!

It’s been so long since I blogged, partly due to the travelling and backlogs I’ve accumulated over time, leaving me no time to edit pictures! Nevertheless, here are some pics from our relaxing beach holiday in Phuket. Enjoy!

Nothing exciting happened on the first day… We checked in upon arrival and walked around the area we stayed in…

Our resort overlooked the beach directly!

There really wasn’t much to shop in Phuket (to my disppointment), but massage and food was pretty cheap and good!

Since there were only the 2 of us, we couldn’t afford to order too much food for dinner since the servings were pretty big (for us at least)!
Walked ard a little more after dinner and retired back to the resort, in preparation for our short tour out the next day to Phi Phi Island!

What’s so special about the LUXE collection you may ask?
Well, apart from looking gorgeous and classy in them when worn, the material of these pieces are boutique comparable, very thick and heavy, each piece carefully checked and chosen before bringing it to you! They are definitely suitable for wedding dinners, tea parties and work (for some pieces)!
What’s more? It is exchangeable without any reason (click to read more about it)!
You’re sure to love them as I did.
LUXE Collection 4 has been launched!
Do come by and check them out for yourself!

Yes, it was our 7th month of marriage that Monday I had talked abt a while back…
While I’m preparing to jet off to Phuket for a short getaway with him, I shall update my blog with pictures of that day as promised!

Pur came along with us and waited patiently for our bus!

And so we took the train after the bus and headed to town for Inception – SUPER AWESOME movie!

Guess where dinner was?

Coffee Club @ Millenia Walk. We were there because there was a 1-for-1 dinner special that night. Despite looking soooo good (referring to the beef in the above pic), that dish tasted practically tasteless! Seriously, the beef and the dark brown sauce looked soooo good when it arrived but the taste was as if everything was just boiled (like the veg that came with it)! It was sooo bad that we requested for additional brown sauce, that was apparently different from the one we were given and it made the dish slightly better. My spaghetti, on the other hand, was pretty decent and I enjoyed it, though I lovingly shared half of it with Tim because he was truly disappointed in the beef and gave up after 2 bites! He swore never to return to Coffee Club again!

The highlight of the day, as we planned, was supposed to be the Singapore Flyer! With our cameras ready, tummy filled and full of anticipation, we found out that the flyer was closed (only upon reaching there), thanks to the heavy rain the night before. URGH. They were fixing the air-con, so we had to miss the flyer despite walking ALL THE WAY THERE!!!

Thank goodness the Helix was just a stone’s throw away, so we headed there for a stroll… or romantic walk as we try to call it. hehe.

National Day Rehearsal

It was a pretty nice, breezy and relaxing walk… We even saw a couple taking wedding photos!
1 bad thing though, is that if you do walk to the end and to Marina Bay Sands… it’ll be too painful a walk back, so we took a public bus instead and headed to Bugis…

For J Co Yogurt Ice Cream!

We had 3 toppings that came with it, super yummy and value-for-money yogurt ice cream as compared to Yammi Yogurt.
What a way to wrap up the day… Now… We are left with the flyer tickets unused. Hopefully, the next time we head there it’ll be working just fine!

Last but not least, the lucky winner for the Rose-a-day Earring that will come with the purchase of our Vintage Black Polka Dot Dress has been picked!!! Is that lucky winner you???
I’m off to Phuket Folks! Will still be accessible to email but might be slower in responding… AHHHH I’m soooo excited right now!
Chao!

I am really happy to announce that new Handmade Accessories has been launched! Considering that these pieces are handmade, they come in 1 piece usually and will not be available for remakes, so if you like it, BUY IT NOW before you regret it! Haha!

On another note, MLB has been picked up by SG Blogshops Review for a shop review! Read the review here!
For those who’ve had an experience shopping with us, perhaps you might want to share it with her? (Thanks in advance for that)!
Having read what she has to say on the review, I am going to disclose a few secrets that MLB is embarking on…
1) MLB will be having a new theme soon! A prettier, nicer, more professional one! As soon as I’m done uploading and tweaking it to perfection!
2) I will be away on a sourcing trip to S.KOREA very soon (10-14 Aug), which means you will see lots of Korean goodies in the weeks following my trip!
3) For the Matryshoka Doll lovers out there, this is for you – We are stocking up on Ms Chirpy and bringing in MORE designs!

On top of all those happy news above, MyLittleBow on Jipaban have also been Featured on Audrey’s Blog! Take a read here!
Yay! Too much exciting news today!
Last but not least, thanks to all patient Customers who have been waiting for their White Gold Plating Name Accessories to arrive. Your wait is coming to an END! As white gold plating is outsourced overseas, it takes a much longer process and the estimated waiting time is approx 4 weeks. However, some of you are clocking almost 5 weeks by now and I’m so sorry about it (because I can’t control a large part of it)! The good news is… that they are currently being shipped over to me so it shld arrive anytime soon and you will be receiving them shortly. And yes, I will definitely let you know when I send them out so you can expect them to wait for you prettily in your mailbox!
